Is everything really free?
Yes. Every lesson, demo and tool on this hub is free. The resources we recommend are free or have genuinely useful free tiers, and the local-AI track shows you how to run models at zero per-use cost.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Tracks 1, 3, 5 and 6 need no code. The agent and local-AI lessons include copy-paste code with every line explained — and the Resource Library has free coding courses (freeCodeCamp, CS50, The Odin Project) if you want to go deeper.
What computer do I need to run AI locally?
8 GB of RAM runs small models; 16 GB runs good 7–9B models comfortably; 32 GB+ opens up stronger 14–20B models. Apple Silicon Macs and PCs with NVIDIA GPUs are fastest. Use the Model Picker to see what fits your machine.
Where is my progress saved?
In your own browser (local storage). Nothing is sent to a server. Clearing your browser data or switching devices resets it.
Are the AI Lab demos connected to real AI?
They're faithful simulations that run entirely in your browser — so they're instant, free and private. Each demo shows the real architecture behind it and links to the lesson that teaches you to build it.
How current is the content?
AI tools change quickly. Commands and features reflect official documentation at the time of writing, and every lesson links to the official docs, which always take precedence.
